The Panda gold coin is a series of gold coins issued by the People's Republic of China. The first series saw the world in 1982. The design of the coin changes every year (except for the year 2002). All coins are minted from gold with a purity of 999/1000 and the PRC mint does not use mint marks when minting these coins.

Until 2015, it was minted in values - 1/20 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/2 oz, 1 oz. Since 2016, coins have been minted in sizes - 30 grams, 15 grams, 8 grams, 3 grams, and 1 gram.
