Charles I (1916-1918)

Charles I was the last Austrian emperor and Hungarian king, who reigned from 1916 to 1918. He ascended the throne during World War I and sought to end it through peace negotiations. After the dissolution of Austria-Hungary, he was forced to relinquish power in 1918.
