Joseph I (1705-1711)

Joseph I was a Habsburg ruler who reigned from 1705 to 1711 as the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, and the King of Hungary and Bohemia. During his reign, the War of the Spanish Succession continued, and efforts to consolidate Habsburg power in Europe were pursued. He was known for supporting reform measures and the development of state administration.
