Leopold I (1657-1705)

Leopold I was the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire, King of Hungary and Bohemia from the House of Habsburg. He reigned from 1658 to 1705, during which time there were conflicts with the Ottoman Empire and wars with France. He was renowned for supporting the arts, strengthening Habsburg power, and the victory over the Turks at Vienna in 1683.
