Medal Czechoslovakia - 25th Anniversary of the Victorious February 1948 - 1973, original ribbon, bronze Commemorative medal for the 25th anniversary of the Victorious February - was established by the directive of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia on October 6, 1972. By decision of the government authorities, it was classified among state honors. It was awarded to party officials and workers, organizations of the National Front, state administrations, and members of the army, interior, and People's Militias for active participation and their significant contribution to the February victory, long-term dedicated work in building socialism. The designer of the medal's concept is medalist B. Burián. Description of the item: A circular medal with a diameter of 30mm and a thickness of 2mm is minted from bronze. On the obverse side, it depicts three figures on a triple pedestal, with the figure on the right representing a woman dressed in a skirt symbolizing agriculture. The figure in the middle is a militiaman with a rifle over his shoulder, and the figure on the left represents a worker. At the top of the medal is an arched inscription VÍTĚZNÝ ÚNOR 1948-1973. On the reverse, in the center of the medal, is a slightly profiled five-pointed star. Around the edge of the medal is a circular inscription DVACÁTÉPÁTÉ VÝROČÍ VÍTĚZSTVÍ PRACUJÍCÍHO LIDU. To the upper edge of the medal is firmly attached a cylindrical loop with a hanging ring for the ribbon. The ribbon is 40mm wide, burgundy in color with five 2mm wide light red stripes.
