Specification
The postage stamp features an engraving of a period portrait of J. Jessenius based on a copper engraving by the Nuremberg engraver Lucas Kylian from 1618, and the coupon consists of the title page of the book "Anatomy" containing a description of the Prague autopsy, which was published in 1601 in Wittenberg. The motifs of the FDC envelope are based on woodcuts from the early 17th century, with a print of a human hand section with astrological symbolism of human body anatomy, and the stamp features a period book binding. The commemorative sheet issued for the edition is decorated with plant ornamentation from the 16th century. The motif of the special postal stamp is a woodcut portrait of J. Jessenius from a chronicle describing the execution of twenty-seven Czech lords at the Old Town Square in Prague in 1621.
