This coin made of pure silver commemorates the strategic thinking of Napoleon and his legions against the armies of the Third Coalition, led by Francis I and II, Emperor of Austria and the Holy Roman Empire, and Alexander I, Tsar of Russia.

Coins from this collection, known as the "Battle of the Three Emperors", pay tribute to the three warring parties. On the obverse side of the coin, there are portraits of Alexander I and Francis I and II on the left, facing the victorious Napoleon at dawn on the battlefield of Austerlitz. In the foreground, Napoleon's legions are lined up and marching towards the battlefield.

The reverse side of this coin is inspired by the original medal minted in 1806 in honor of Napoleon's victory at Austerlitz. In the center is a winged scepter topped with a statue of Charlemagne and accompanied by lightning bolts. This composition evokes all the symbolism of the ancient imperial symbolism of Napoleon I.
