The Czechoslovak Revolutionary Medal was introduced on December 1, 1918, in Paris, France, by decree of President T.G. Masaryk. The award included commendation supplements, regiment numbers, and participant tags. Description: the medal is massive, shaped like a Greek cross, with a relief figure of a rider on a rearing horse holding a flag in his right hand. The horse is winged, with its wings occupying the area of the transverse arms. Around the perimeter, between the arms, is the inscription, VZHŮRU / NA STRÁŽ / SVOBODNÝ / NÁRODE. The reverse features a figure of a winged woman holding the inscription, ZA SVOBODU, above her head, with two snakes rising under her feet. At the top around the perimeter is the date 1914 arm 1918, and at the bottom around the perimeter are laurel branches. The ribbon is chest-worn, threaded with a massive ring, with a width ranging from 38 to 41 mm, in red - blue - white - blue - red colors.
