Professional UV lamp for detecting phosphorescence with a short fluorescent tube. Shortwave UV radiation and high intensity at a wavelength of 254 nm guarantee reliable verification of luminescence. Suitable for collectors of postage stamps from the USA, Great Britain, Israel, Finland, and older editions from Canada and Mexico. External dimensions: 167x40x35 mm. The device operates on batteries: (4 pcs UM AA). Batteries are not included in the device. In case of burnout, a replacement fluorescent tube can be ordered. Warning: Never look directly into the turned-on UV lamp! A filter attachment can be purchased for the UV lamp, which absorbs longwave UV radiation, resulting in flawless verification of phosphorescence and other rarities. The attachment has a simple clamping device.
