This 5-ounce silver coin with a purity of 99.99% is a magnificent collector's piece and features six different portraits on the reverse, one for each of the reigning monarchs whose likenesses have appeared on Canadian coins since Confederation. These selected portraits from Canadian coins trace the royal line of succession and the crown in their various eras – from the diadem portrait of Queen Victoria seen on the first coins issued by the Canadian Dominion 155 years ago, to the current likeness of His Majesty King Charles III.

This is the first time that the Canadian likeness of His Majesty has appeared alongside the likenesses of his predecessors on a single Canadian coin, as no Canadian coins featuring the likeness of King Edward VIII were issued during his brief reign. Exempt from HST/GST.
