The wars led by Napoleon Bonaparte from 1796 to 1815 also affected the western part of the territory of Slovakia, which was then part of the Habsburg monarchy. For the first time, Napoleonic troops entered Slovakia in connection with preparations for the battle known as the Battle of the Three Emperors, which took place on December 2, 1805, near Slavkov. Napoleon's army defeated the forces of Austrian Emperor Francis I and Russian Tsar Alexander I. The allies suffered significant losses, and Austria was forced to capitulate.
The final negotiations between Austrian and French diplomats on peace took place at the end of December 1805 in Bratislava (then Pressburg). The peace treaty was signed
on December 26, 1805, in the classicist residence of the Archbishop of Esztergom, now known as the Primate's Palace. It imposed harsh conditions on Austria and established a new division of Europe. Austria lost its influence in Germany and all its territories in Italy, Dalmatia, Tyrol, and Vorarlberg.

Obverse:
On the obverse of the coin, the Primate's Palace in Bratislava, where the peace treaty was signed, is depicted on the right side. In the center of the coin field is the military standard of the Napoleonic troops, topped with an eagle, the symbol of Napoleon I. The composition is completed in the lower part by the seal of Bratislava and crossed sabers of the defeated Austrian and Russian armies tied with a ribbon. Stylized initials of the designer Pavel Károly and the mark of the Kremnica Mint are at the bottom edge of the coin. At the top edge of the coin, the name of the state SLOVAK REPUBLIC is inscribed. To the right of the standard is the national emblem, below it the nominal value 200 Sk. The year of minting 2005 is to the left of the saber handle.

Reverse:
On the reverse of the coin, French Emperor Napoleon I is depicted on the left side and Austrian Emperor Francis I on the right side. At the top edge of the coin, the inscription BRATISLAVSKÝ MIER is in two lines, below it is a Napoleonic soldier on horseback and to the right of him a cannon. The composition is completed by wavy ribbons with inscriptions in French PAIX DE PRESBOURG and in German PRESSBURGER FRIEDEN with the year 1805. A drum is placed at the bottom edge of the coin.
